
AMPHITHEATER RULES & INFORMATION
PARKING
2,700 paved parking space are available at the Mentor Municipal Center Campus and Mentor High School. No parking on grass along Munson Road on bike-path side of the road or areas with no parking signs. You may be ticketed or towed if parking in a no parking zone.
Parking is PROHIBITED at the University Hospitals Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Center out of respect for patients seeking treatment, staff, and members of the wellness center.
HANDICAPPED PARKING
Handicapped parking is located in the main Municipal Center lot as well as on the eastern portion of the grounds. If you require assistance, please seek the attention of a staff member.
SEATING
There is no permanent seating at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs.
FOOD & REFRESHMENTS
A variety of foods are available for purchase from food trucks which are located on the east side of the grounds. A selection of beers and sparkling beverages can also be purchased from the beer tents located on the east and west side of the grounds.
No Coolers
Although permitted in the past, the city is implementing a new NO COOLERS policy this season. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome but must be hand carried. Those carrying coolers will be asked to return them to their vehicle.
No Outside Alcohol
The possession and consumption of outside alcohol in a city park is a criminal misdemeanor and will be enforced.
The consumption of outside alcohol on amphitheater grounds is also in conflict with the facility’s state-issued liquor permit. Violations can lead to the revocation of that permit by the state of Ohio.
No Glass Bottles
Glass bottles pose an inherent danger to both attendees and staff and are not permitted on amphitheater grounds.
No Food Deliveries
To avoid disrupting the show, please do not arrange food deliveries to the amphitheater field. If you need to coordinate a delivery, we recommend meeting the driver in the parking lot.
PETS
For the comfort of all concertgoers, pets are not permitted on the grassy area of the main amphitheater grounds. And, it’s important to keep your pet’s well-being in mind as well. A dog’s hearing is 4 times more sensitive than a human. Prolonged loud music can stress your animal.
FIRST AID / MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
A staffed first aid station is located on the east side of the grounds next to the Mentor Ice Arena. Gain the attention of a Mentor Rocks staffer for acute need.
REST ROOMS
Four permanent restrooms are available throughout the Civic Center complex in addition to portable facilities. Please refer to the grounds map for locations.
DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA
Smoking is welcomed only in the designated smoking area located at the southeast corner of the grounds.
WEATHER / LIGHTNING SHELTER
Mentor Rocks is a rain or shine event. Shows will only be cancelled or delayed in the event of lightning in the area. In the event of sudden inclement weather, a lightning entrance has been designated at the top floor of the Mentor Ice Arena.
